It’s certainly apt that Sonakshi is deemed as the poster girl for the curvaceous Indian woman, with a penchant to opt for outfits that accentuate her form, all while being in sync with the contemporary trends and cuts. Roping in a style game for her rib tickler, Welcome to New York, Sonakshi Sinha dabbled in elements that ranged from being fiercely feminine with power dressing, feisty and edgy to athleisure chic. Upping the game further with a stunning beauty game, Sonakshi Sinha evoked a wow with this promotional style. The glam squad responsible for Sonakshi’s looks included fashion stylists Aakruti Sejpal and Vedika Ghotge, makeup artist Divya Chablani and hair stylist Madhuri Nakhale.

Not the one to shy from experimenting with colours and silhouettes, Sonakshi Sinha made for a riveting show-opener for ace fashion stylists Falguni and Shane Peacock at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018 with her high-octane glamour and unabashed sass. Edgy AF – Sonakshi Sinha

Kick-starting the promotional style file with denim, Sonakshi wore a distressed denim dress from the label IKAI by Ragini Ahuja teamed with Justeene Earrings and Amandi ring from Anomaly by Anam. She added a dash of edginess with black boots and layered her look with a striped longline shrug. Pink lips, defined eyes and a wavy do rounded out her look. Soaring the temperatures in the capital, Sonakshi donned a drop-dead number by Situationist and upped the look with mesh socks and sandals from Steve Madden. A Swarovski layered choker with wavy hair rounded out her look.

Sassy Power Dressing – Sonakshi Sinha

Breaking the rules with Falguni and Shane Peacock’s power suit as the show opener that featured a mesh bodice, blazer and wide bottom leg pants from their Spring Summer 2018 collection, Sonakshi Sinha oozed a sassiness that was further upped with a stunning makeup, vintage oversized glasses and side-swept waves. Promoting the flick on Rising Star Season 2, Sonakshi owned the slouchy mustard yellow Zara pant suit and upped it with jewellery from Flower Child by Shaheen Abbas featuring Crudo eartops and a Unico ring. Smokey eyes, matte nude pink lips and centre-parted sleek hair rounded out her look.

Sonakshi flaunted her love for the brand Lavish Alice once again, this time with separates of pleated waistband trousers and one-shoulder blazer for promotional activities of her upcoming flick, Welcome to New York. Slaying black with bling while promoting the flick on the reality show, India’s Next Superstars, Sonakshi flaunted an all-black look featuring an Ashish Soni jumpsuit and Givenchy pointy toes. A ring by Aurelle, a subtle makeup with a sleek pulled back hairdo and stray strands rounded out her look.

Slaying white with bling for her promotional stint on Super Dancer, Sonakshi flaunted a Shriya Som runway ensemble, straight from LFW Summer/Resort 2018 featuring an oversized mirror bomber jacket styled with a white tie front pant & grey mirror crop top. Bright lips, dark eyes and sleek hair rounded out her all-white look.

Athleisure Chic – Sonakshi Sinha

Going comfortable but chic in a Falguni & Shane Peacock printed tracksuit teamed with a white tank top, Sonakshi teamed it with vintage clear glasses, white sneakers and a sleek braid.

Welcome to New York is an out and out comedy entertainer. The film is about two unlikely youngsters, Hero (Diljit Dosanjh) and Jeenal Patel (Sonakshi Sinha) living in India who are in search of a better life for themselves. An unexpected trip to New York City changes their lives forever replete with hilarious encounters with Karan Johar, Rana Daggubati, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani. It is scheduled for a release on February 23.
