REVEALED: Diljit Dosanjh wraps up the second schedule of the IIFA movie : Bollywood News

Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh forayed into Hindi cinema as an actor with Udta Punjab and ever since he has garnered appreciation for his acting. He is now working on his third project, the IIFA movie. The film in question that has been subjected to many speculations since its inception has successfully wrapped up yet another major schedule in Amritsar and Diljit Dosanjh is more than happy to talk about it.

Readers may be aware that talks of IIFA film in the making started doing the rounds before the grand awards gala went on stage in New York a few months ago. The film that also features Sonakshi Sinha is a one of a kind feature film that talks about the happenings of the award function, which is co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani. Playing a prominent role is also Diljit Dosanjh with other popular A-listers who will be seen in a cameo of sorts in this unique attempt.

With comedy as its prime component, this film marks the directorial debut of Chakri Toleti. Talking about his association with the team of IIFA movie, Diljit Dosanjh said, “It is a wonderful experience working with Chakri Ji, Vashu ji and specially Sonakshi Sinha ji. She is really charming and brings life on set.”

On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh has time and again been associated with comedy when it comes to Punjabi cinema. With the IIFA film promising to be yet another rib tickling ride, the actor-singer spoke about his experience of working for yet another comic caper. He added, “I have done many other comedy films. I don't judge a film by its genre whether its comedy or thriller or romantic etc.. I am enjoying the film.”

As for the title of the film, we hear that the makers of the film have tentatively titled it as Crazy Hum. With Wizcraft turning producer with this film, it is being extensively shot in New York and now in Amritsar.
