Just like every year, news channel News 18 held their annual Rising India Summit where many dignitaries from various sectors were invited to speak at special panels. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and lyricist and Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification, Prasoon Joshi were some of the guests who spoke at the summit.
Besides them, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took the global stage to talk about his vision at the summit. Post the summit, Kangana Ranaut and Prasoon Joshi got to meet PM Modi and share a few words with him.
Just a day ago during the final panel, Kangana Ranaut had praised Prasoon Joshi and his work as CBFC Chief. At the News 18 Rising India Summit, she said, "Prasoon sir is the right person to be the chief of the censor board. I can never be Prasoon sir, he's really good.”
During her panel, Kangana was also seen praising Narendra Modi. She said, “The son of a chaiwallah can become Prime Minister isn't just a victory for Modiji, it is a victory for democracy in our country.”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is shooting for Manikarnika– The Queen of Jhansi will tell the story about the glorious life of warrior queen Rani Lakshmibai. Directed by Krish, the film also stars Ankita Lokhande and is slated for April 2018 release as of now.
