Kabir Khan directs an ad campaign featuring Shah Rukh Khan

It is known that Shah Rukh Khan is the tourism ambassador of Dubai. The actor has starred in campaign shots for the Dubai tourism. SRK even visited Dubai for the same last year. Now, the campaign has been unveiled and it has been directed by none other than Kabir Khan.

Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing unveiled the first short film of ‘2.0 #BeMyGuest’on Saturday. This happens to be the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Kabir Khan on a project even though he had a cameo in Kabir’s Tubelight. The video for the campaign has been shot in the beautiful locations of Legoland Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai. There are four videos in total and two were released on Saturday which are directed by Kabir.

Shah Rukh Khan said in a statement, "Last year I invited my fans around the world to "Be My Guest" while giving them a glimpse into my Dubai, as part of this exciting partnership with Dubai Tourism. This year, along with one of Bollywood's most recognised directors, Kabir Khan, we're taking that partnership further to exploring new places and attractions but with the signature essence of Dubai that truly makes it a place where every visitor can feel like they belong to even greater heights. I love this amazing city and I'm really looking forward to once again sharing my experiences with my fans."

Talking about this collaboration, director Kabir Khan said in an official statement, "It's been an absolute dream come true to work on this campaign with such powerhouse names. I have always aspired to work with Shah Rukh, the charisma he brings to every shot is admirable, while Dubai has been one of my favourite cities to visit. In these films, we've done our best to capture the essence of Dubai, from its stunning locations to its welcoming hospitality. After working so closely with both Dubai Tourism and Shah Rukh Khan, I can confidently call Dubai my home and cannot wait to be back."

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for Aanand L Rai’s film Zero co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film is scheduled to release on Christmas 2018 weekend. Kabir Khan has started working on ’83 film which is a biopic on Indian Cricket Team when they won the World Cup. The film will star Ranveer Singh as former Indian Captain Kapil Dev.
