Born on 05 January 1986, Deepika Padukone is the millennial who effortlessly flits from one diverse role to another, courtesy the endearing Piku and the daunting Serena Unger in xXx: Return of Xander Cage or the fierce Rani Padmavati in Padmavat. All along, in a career spanning 10 years, Deepika Padukone has undergone a major metamorphosis and her style sensibilities have only refined with time. IIFA 2016 red carpet saw Deepika don a customised Swapnil Shinde gown teamed with a pearl necklace by Farah Ali Khan and rings by Anmol Jeweller and a voluminous updo.

For the Star Screen Awards 2016, Deepika made eyes pop wearing a dramatic customised Gauri and Nainika black gown featuring oversized floral embellishments, ruffles, a racy cutout and teamed it well with winged eyes, nude lips, earrings by Aurelle and a messy bun and open black sandals.

For the Lux Gold Rose Awards 2016, Deepika wore a metallic grey satin strapless gown from Ralph & Russo replete with a thigh-high slit with three strapped Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos. Channelling a minimal vibe with a pair of studs from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery, she rounded out the look with open tresses and a flawless makeup of heavily lined eyes, bold eyebrows and bright red lips.

IIFA 2016 red carpet in Madrid, Deepika Padukone wore a Prabal Gurung red thigh-high slit gown teamed with shoulder-grazing earrings from Outhouse Jewellery rounding out the look with a pair of strappy golden Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos, a flawless makeup of bright red lips and bold eyes.

A look that was heavily panned by the global fashion critics, Deepika Padukone donned a Monisha Jaising creation featuring a swamp green bralette, a trailing thigh-high slit skirt and metallic 3-D embellished heavy-duty bomber jacket teamed with black Balmain stilettos; a makeup of bold eyes and eyebrows with a neat low back pony and tasseled earrings from Valliyan rounded up her red carpet look.

An unconventional red carpet colour, canary yellow for the Instyle Party of the Golden Globe Awards 2017, Deepika Padukone wore a one- shoulder Ralph Lauren gown coupled with an earthy makeup that was delightfully a neutral take on Old Hollywood and flaunted a pair of statement pearl earrings.

For the Vanity Fair Oscars 2017 after-party, Deepika Padukone wore a two-toned Monique Lhuillier strapless fitted gown with a trail, opting for white gold honeycomb diamond by Buccellati and Giuseppe Zanotti heels. Well-defined eyes and lissom beachy waves rounded out her look.

For the LA premiere of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, Deepika wore a customized Ralph and Russo gown with off-shoulder on one side accentuated by deepset red lined eyes and matching statement earrings. She rounded out the look with a crisp and non-messy center-parted low back pony.

A much-discussed look that clinched her spot on the Google Trends’ most Googled Met Gala 2017 dresses, Deepika Padukone’s famed vanilla look featured an all-white gown with pearl and crystal embellishments by Tommy Hilfiger and diamond chandelier earrings by Fred Leighton. She rounded out the look with a chic hairdo featuring an antique diamond tiara from Leighton Jewels and a demure makeup of winged eyeliner and nude lips.

For the red carpet premiere of xXx: Return of Xander Cage in Beijing, Deepika wore a white Ralph Lauren gown with a dramatic trail and halter neck accentuated by dramatic eyes and nude pink lips and her hair styled into a clean knot with stray strands.

A red carpet look that made jaws drop, Deepika opted for a risqué vibe at Cannes 2017 with a jewel-toned maroon creation by Marchesa Notte teamed with Jimmy Choo heels and De Grisogono jewellery. Soft waves and berry toned lips rounded out her look.

For Cannes 2017, Deepika Padukone turned up the edginess on the red carpet wearing a Brandon Maxwell one-shouldered gown and teamed it with a top bun, Chloe Gosselin sandals and diamond jewellery from DeGrisogono topping off the look with dramatic winged green eyes and nude, glossy lips.

For the GQ Fashion Nights 2017, Deepika astounded everyone wearing a Sabyasachi fusion sari featuring a risqué blouse teamed with bold smokey eyes, nude matte lips and a slick hairdo.

Showing us just the perfect way to pull off a saree on the red carpet, Deepika attended the Asiavision Awards 2017 in Sharjah wearing a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree with a jacket, topping off the look with diamond and emerald drop earrings, a slick hairdo and a flawless makeup.
