The stars from Pakistan and India came under one roof this past weekend for Filmfare Middle East launch. From Fawad Khan to Karan Johar to Deepika Padukone, it was a starry affair. It marked the reunion of Fawad Khan with his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director, Karan Johar. They posed for the shutterbugs with Karan's BFF, designer Manish Malhotra. This was the first time Karan and Fawad met publicly since the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil controversy.
Deepika Padukone looked absolutely stunning in a black gown. She met Fawad Khan as the duo shared few words with each other. They were seated in the front row. For the uninitiated, Fawad and Deepika had walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra in 2016. Dia Mirza was also seen catching up with Fawad Khan and Jitesh Pillai.
Besides this, Deepika Padukone graced the cover of Filmfare Middle East for the April issue. The actress looks graceful as ever in her casual chic avatar donning a pair of blue jeans and a grey polo neck top, complimenting it with white shoes.
The other guests present were Sophie Choudry, Jackie Shroff, Jawed Shaikh, Sajjad Delafrooz and many more.
Fawad Khan starred in three Bollywood films. After Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai shows made him famous in India, he made his debut in Sonam Kapoor starrer Khoobsurat. He, then, ended up starring in Kapoor and Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
