The New Year certainly began on a dazzling note for the dimpled diva of Bollywood – Deepika Padukone! The diva has garnered accolades from all quarters for her regal, ethereal and magnificent portrayal of Rani Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmaavat. Deepika Padukone dropped an utterly gorgeous picture on Instagram early morning perking up our Tuesdays. As the cover girl for the February 2018 edition of Vogue which is the Happy Issue, Deepika Padukone is seen radiating a resplendent glow coupled with a rainbow-esque avatar of a sparkling bright ensemble. Spilling beans on the one project that she is most excited about currently. Vogue’s cover star, Deepika has us hooked, booked and how! If 2017 saw Deepika establish global domination with her splendid appearances at the Golden Globe Awards 2017, pre and post Oscars 2017, Met Gala 2017 to making that starry debut at Cannes 2017, 2018 has seen her clinch a coveted position in the Rs. 100 crore club with Padmaavat. Upping the ante with a signature style of chic, classy and cheeky with each appearance, Deepika never fails to astound us. Recently, Deepika Padukone confirmed reports of being on board by signing for Vishal Bharadwaj’s untitled biopic on the gangster Sapna Didi. We wonder if Deepika is perked up by this project?!

The photoshoot has been shot by Mazen Abusrour and all of Deepika Padukone’s looks from this brilliant shoot have been styled by ace fashion stylist and Vogue’s Fashion director, Anaita Shroff Adajania. Deepika’s flawless makeup is courtesy makeup artist Anil Chinnappa and her beautiful tresses have been styled to perfection by celebrity hairstylist Yianni Tsapatori. The diva teamed a bright red swimsuit by Lolli Swim and layered it with a pyjama-style cotton shirt saturated with iridescent sequins in a rainbow hue from designer Ashish’s Fall 2017 collection. Bright red lips, bold eyebrows and well-defined eyes with loose waves flying about round out her splendid look.
