Megastar Amitabh Bachchan got into the party mode and rang in the New Year with his special ladies- his granddaughters, Navya Naveli Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. The veteran actor shared a few photographs of Aaradhya and Navya on his blog and social media as the grandpa- granddaughter trio had a fun night.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of his granddaughters, Navya and Aaradhya, with the caption that read, “Daughters be the best … granddaughters the bestest .. Navya Naveli and Aaradhya ..” In the picture, little Aaradhya was sitting on elder sister Navya's lap.

In another couple of pictures, Aaradhya Bachchan freaked out after planting her tiara on grandpa's head. He captioned the pictures as, "… and Aaradhya plants her ‘tiara’ hair band on her Dada Ji and … well freaks out !!! Happy 2018.”

Taking to his blog later, Amitabh Bachchan wishes all his fans a very happy new year. He wrote, “The family sits out in the ‘angan’ my most favoured destination in the house .. the wife has decorated the table and the food .. it is intimate and warm and delicious .. the grandchildren are there in smiles and affection .. and what more can one ever desire .."

He further wrote, "An end of the week .. an end of the month .. an end of the year .. something unique welcomes this new 365 .. today .. !! A Sunday – end of week, a 31st day of December – end of month, and the end of 2017 to 2018 .. It’s mid-night .. !! A few crackers around the surroundings in Juhu .. a subdued cheer from the crowded streets around .. the family comes up and wishes the new year .. and I get down to wishing all .. with the best there is ever for all.”

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Aamir Khan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan and 102 Not Out. He also will be seen in Brahmastra and is a special role in Padman.
