Readers may be aware that 2017 holds a lot of importance for actress Richa Chadda who will not be reviving the comedy film franchise Fukrey that gave her fame but she will also be doing her third international project with none other producer David Womark of Life Of Pi fame. The actress is playing a pivotal role in his forthcoming film Love Sonia and here’s presenting a glimpse from the same.

The picture in question is the first look of Richa Chadda from the film Love Sonia that depicts the brutal realities of human trafficking across the globe. The actress’ character in the film is said to be pretty intense and considering the actress’ dedication, we hear that she went through extensive preparations to portray her role with conviction.

"For any actor to be a part of film like Love Sonia is beyond satisfying. This is my third international project and the experience to have worked on this film is really unique and enriching. The cast, crew everyone who I worked with on Love Sonia was an education for me. This film really opened up my perspective on film making as a process and I got an opportunity to work with some of the best names from across the world", says Richa.

Besides her, the film also stars renowned Hollywood actress Demi Moore and Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto. The film also marks the debut of popular Indian TV star Mrunal Thakur, who was seen in fiction shows like ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and reality shows like ‘Nach Baliye’.

On the other hand, Richa Chadda, who like many other celebrities has contributed to the causes she believes in, decided to raise her voice against human trafficking and create awareness on the issue with a documentary. The actress turned director with this documentary as she also joined hands with an NGO as she aimed to inspire women to take the courageous step of breaking free from this form of slavery.
