Batti Gul Meter Chalu co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor enthrall the audience at a wedding : Bollywood News

It is known that Haider stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are reuniting in KriArj Entertainment’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The filming began in Uttarakhand in the month of February. While the early shooting schedule went smoothly, the next schedule shooting was stalled due to monetary issues from the producers’ side. As the things got sorted, the filming began in Pune. Meanwhile, the duo reunited at a grand wedding of Tanushree Rungta last night to enthral the audiences with their performances.

It was a starry affair at Taj Palace in Delhi where many celebrities came together to enjoy the night. Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Dia Mirza and Katrina Kaif were some of the stars who came for the grand wedding night. Just like others, Shahid took over the stage and entertained the audience with his slick moves. He danced on some of his hit tracks including 'Gulabo', ‘Saree Ke Fall Sa’, ‘Tu Mere Agal Bagal’ and 'Dhan Te Nan'. The actor looked sharp in his black trousers, jacket and shimmery shirt.

Shraddha Kapoor, on the other hand, gave performances on her romantic ballads- ‘Sun Saathiya’, ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Humma Humma’ to name a few. She danced with the bride and mesmerized the audience.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Shahid Kapoor will essay the role of a lawyer for the first time in Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film also stars Yami Gautam besides Shraddha Kapoor. The film is a social comedy-drama that gives a quirky take on the conspiracy behind exorbitant electricity bills.
