Often, we have discovered struggling stars making confessions on nepotism, gender discrimination, casting couch among others - some cons that probably seems to be associated with the world of glitz and glamour. But when you hear a popular actress speaking her heart out, some secrets are unleashed, statements are unabashed and many may probably get a reality check.

From talking about her aspirations of turning producer who wants to amalgamate a good script with immense talent to her experience to men with fragile egos, Richa made confessions and also took us through a trailer of the world we call Bollywood from her perspective.
Talking about the low shelf life of stars, Richa believes that their stardom doesn’t last long like earlier days. “Actors these days are porn stars who have the shortest shelf life,” she says. What also leaves her often miffed is the pretense. The fakeness that reflects in complimenting a director for his film (which could be shitty) and the insecurities that stems from being a star. However, the actress believes that years of dealing with the rejection have made her a better person and someone who can read people correctly.
And she has a word or two for the paparazzi! Reminiscing about an incident, she spoke about how her family was appalled to see media reports showcasing her in a well-dressed manner, as she was in a hurry to fly to Delhi to attend an emergency. The actress stated about it adding that her aunt was quite shocked to see the actress dressing up for ‘a calamity at home’. She requested the paparazzi to stop following the footsteps of Hollywood media who constantly hover around denying any kind of privacy. “I know it comes with the territory but we don’t have to become like America,” she adds.
On the other hand, the actress is also quite averted to socializing and had rather spend her time meeting friends and family, even vegetate or watch TV. “Making a film is a lot of work – script reading, set making, look tests, fitness… where does that time come from? It comes from the time you save socializing with idiots,” adds Richa.
Richa Chadda has always been advocating women empowerment through various mediums from making short films to supporting campaigns related to it. She doesn’t shy away from talking about her bad experience with the ‘male gender’ either. “I can't stand selfish men with huge egos. Or those who don't read and are unaware of what's happening in the world. I dated one such man and it was a nightmare. He never read a single book in his life but had an opinion on everything.” At the same time, she wants to be the woman who wants to redefine the meaning of true liberation which according to her is when one doesn’t expect a man to go down on his knees.
