The young Dangal actress made headlines after she posted a cryptic apology message on her Facebook profile for meeting the CM of J&K Mehbooba Mufti. Zaira also said that she was no role model for the Kashmiri youth and that they should not look up to her.

Aamir Khan took to social media and wrote the following message in support of the actress. Aamir also requested everyone to give Zaira her space as she is just a young girl trying her best to deal with life:
