It is a winning start for Kohli & Co at Kanpur. At the same time, due credit should be given to the Kiwi batsmen, specially Mitchell Santner and Luke Ronchi, for showing grit in holding for more than the first session on day five. But for a rush of blood, Ronchi could have troubled us. Of course, what makes our own R. Ashwin the more complete cricketer, unlike his great predecessors, is his ability to score with the bat.
