12 teams to probe Mayur Vihar murder

A day after the murder of a 64-year-old retired government official in Mayur Vihar area of east Delhi, the police on Thursday formed 12 teams to investigate the matter. The police said that it is working on all angles to probe the murder case and is on the lookout of a woman in her late 20s, who was captured in a CCTV grab of the exit gate of the apartment complex, where the victim lived.

The residents were shown a captured image of the suspect as well as the CCTV footage recovered from a camera installed at the exit gate of the apartment complex. The suspect was not noticed while coming inside, but was clearly captured while exiting the apartment complex from gate number three.
