UM Motorcycles opens third dealership in india

The dealership will be called Bhagwati Motors, which is built on an area of 3200 sq. ft. where the whole of UM Motorcycles will be exhibited.

American motorcycle maker UM International’s Indian arm UM Motorcycles has opened its third dealership in India in Gurugram. The American automaker has collaborated with Lohia Auto Limited to both manufacture and launch the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S in India this year at the 2016 Auto Expo. The dealership will be called Bhagwati Motors, which is built on an area of 3200 sq. ft. where the whole of UM Motorcycles will be exhibited. The expanse will also house the after-sales services to help owners have a better reach towards customer services and thereby enjoy a great customer experience. Both the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S of UM Motorcycles are differentiated between them in their respective styles, though they enjoy the same mechanical specifications. The single-cylinder, water-cooled, 279 cc engine delivers 24.6 PS at 8500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The transmission is carried out via a six-speed gearbox. Talking about the new dealership, Rajeev Mishra, Director, UML, said: “I am delighted to announce the opening of the third dealership of UM Motorcycles in India. We also take pride in offering the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S today for test drive. Both these iconic cruisers from the UM Stable have won the hearts of bike lovers the world over and are now ready to conquer the biking landscape in India.” Both the motorcycles sport telescopic front forks and dual shock suspension for the rear wheel. With the new dealership, deliveries will commence from next month. The motorcycle maker has received 1000 bookings for their motorcycles, since launch. The Gurugram dealer has also begun accepting bookings for which deliveries are assured by next month. Price of the Renegade Commando gets priced at Rs. 1.59 lakh and the Renegade Sport S has a price of Rs. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
