Havells appoints Shashi Arora as Llyod's CEO
Arora, former MD and CEO of Airtel Payments Bank has played leading roles in various companies previously.
In a recent development, Havells India Limited has appointed Shashi Arora as the chief executive officer (CEO) for Lloyd, the company's consumer durable brand. Arora brings with him extensive experience of over 27 years in segments such as FMCG, Banking, Telecom, and the Media and Entertainment sectors. He also played the role of MD and CEO of Airtel Payments Bank, part of the telecom major Bharti Airtel brand.

Apart from Airtel, where he spent 12 years in key positions, Arora has played pivotal roles in both Indian and multinational firms such as Kotak Mahindra Bank and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. An expert in strategic planning, brand strategy and management, distribution channel management etc., he has a wide range of experience in managing independent business profit and loss (P&L).
A gold-medallist in PGDBM (Marketing) from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Arora has actively taken part in various strategic management and leadership programmes at MIT and Harvard Business School, Boston.
