Kamal Basu call it quits from Volkswagen

Volkswagen announced a change in its Indian management. Kamal Basu who was managing marketing and public relations at Volkswagen Passenger Cars has parted ways with the company. His stint at Volkswagen lasted for three years.

As per the official announcement received, “Mr. Kamal Basu who headed Marketing and PR for Volkswagen Passenger Cars is moving on outside the Group. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors”.

Prior to joining Volkswagen, Basu was heading the marketing operations at SKODA India. He has also been associated with Saatchi & Saatchi in the role of chief executive officer. An MBA graduate from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Basu earlier worked with Ogilvy & Mather India as Vice President.
