Wieden+Kennedy bags creative mandate of Budweiser and Haywards 5000 in India

The two brands belong to the parent company, AB InBev.

AB InBev has appointed Wieden+Kennedy Delhi as the agency for two of its brands in India - Budweiser and Haywards 5000. The agency will work on the strategy and integrated creative duties of both brands, as part of the mandate.

Speaking on the appointment, Kartikeya Sharma, marketing director, AB InBev, says in a press note, “We are happy to partner with Wieden+Kennedy as our creative agency in India. The Indian market is growing rapidly amongst other Budweiser global markets, and Wieden's drive, energy and expertise completely matches ours at this point. Combined with their creative excellence, we can only look forward to putting out some great work for both Budweiser and Haywards 5000, and further expanding our footprint in the country."

Budweiser was introduced by Adolphus Busch in 1876 and has a presence in 85 countries. Haywards 5000 is a beer brands in India and has been in the market for around 40 years now. It was acquired by AB InBev post a merger with SABMiller in 2015.
