JWT's Babita Baruah to join WPP's Global Team Blue as country head

Babita Baruah has quit JWT as senior vice president and managing partner, PO1, an independent business unit for PepsiCo, and is now set to join WPP's Global Team Blue (GTB), a dedicated unit for the Ford business, as country head.

Baruah worked with JWT for 20 years and was business head of JWT Mumbai till July 2010, before moving to JWT Delhi. At JWT, she has worked on brands from Unilever, Godrej, Kotak, Aditya Birla Capital, Kingfisher Airlines, Diageo, Kelloggs, Wills, Bata, Emami, World Gold Council, De Beers, Nestle and Nokia.
