Times Network: Anup Vishwanathan to return; Shantanu Gangane moves to Vuclip
Shantanu Gangane has joined Vuclip as Head of Marketing, OTT business while Anup Vishwanathan is set to make a comeback to Times Network as head of marketing.
Anup Vishwanathan, who recently resigned from the post of senior vice-president - marketing, Sony Entertainment Television (SET), is set to re-join Times Network.
"He will head marketing for the English News cluster and will report to Vivek Srivastava, senior vice president and head, English Entertainment Cluster and Zoom at Times Network," said a source close to the development.
Recall that Vishwanathan moved on from Times Network in September 2015; at the time he was marketing head for the English Entertainment Cluster, Times Network. He went on to replace Gaurav Seth at Sony.
Meanwhile, in another development, Shantanu Gangane who was head of marketing - Times Now, ET Now and Zoom at Times Network, has moved on from the network to join video on demand platform Vuclip as head of marketing of the OTT (over-the-top) business.
"His role would be to lead the marketing initiatives of the platform," said a senior official in Vuclip.
Gangane has been with the Times Network (formerly known as Times Television Network) since 2010. Back then he joined as head, marketing, Movies Now. Before joining Times Gangane worked with Viacom18 and Radio City.
