What's your idea of a perfect mum, asks Baby Dove

Dove, the personal care brand from HUL, has forayed into the baby care space.

If you can keep your head, when all about you are losing theirs

If you can meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those two impostors just the same

If you can full the unforgiving minute with 60 seconds of distance run

If you can dream, and not make dreams your master

You'll be a mum my girl

There are no perfect mums, just real ones...

What's your idea of a perfect mum, asks Baby Dove

Dove, the personal care brand owned by Hindustan Unilever, recently forayed into the baby-care space with Baby Dove. The move was marked by the launch of a new campaign comprising an international ad and another one created specifically for the Indian market.

What's your idea of a perfect mum, asks Baby Dove

The ad is a celebration of mothers, their emotions, and their imperfections. It highlights the brand's philosophy, 'there are no perfect mums, just real ones'.

According to Euromonitor, baby and child-specific products in India are expected to reach sales worth INR 16 billion by 2020. Other than the market leader Johnson & Johnson (with value share of 75 per cent), players in the segment include Dabur (10 per cent), Himalaya Drug Co (3 per cent), and Wipro (2 per cent).

In January, Dabur unveiled its premium baby care range Dabur Baby. Baba Ramdev's Patanjali is also present in the segment with Shishu Care.
