LALITPUR: Sanogaucharan Knight King, Samakhusi Futsal, Himalayan Sherpa and Bagarbhai Khalak Pokhara advanced to the quarter-finals of the Ruslan Jawalakhel Cup Veteran Football Tournament here on Thursday.

In the day’s matches, Bagarbhai defeated Club Mosses 1-0 riding on Himal Thapa’s goal, while Abhishek Church of Nawalparasi and Nepal Army played a 1-1 draw.

In other matches, Friends Club thrashed Ruslan 12-0, Himalayan Sherpa and Bagarbhai played a 1-1 draw, Kailali outplayed Adibashi Football Club 5-0, and Nepal Army settled for a goalless draw with Friends Club.
