KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Anil Lal Shrestha failed to advance to bodybuilding category final round of the 65kg under the eighth WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Pattaya, Thailand on Friday.

Shrestha finished sixth among eight participants and failed to make it to the final round as only top five bodybuilders advanced from the pre-judging round. Thai bodybuilders bagged top two positions in the final round.

Shrestha also finished on 15th position among 23 participants in the above 40-year old category.

Similarly, Bimal Lal Shrestha was also knocked out from pre-judging round of sports physiques (170cm) category.
