KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday expressed condolences over deaths of 21 persons in a road accident in Chitwan district this morning.

Issuing a press statement today, the President's Office also informed that the Head of the State had wished for speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.

The President also urged the concerned authorities to prevent such road accidents in the future with appropriate measures.

Meanwhile, PM Dahal directed the local administration for promptly rescuing the injured passengers.

The Prime Minister gave this directive to the Chitwan District Administration this morning, the Prime Minister's personal deputy secretary Manohari Timilsina said.
