KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed retired Lieutenant General Netra Bahadur Thapa her security expert.

According to the President's Office, the appointment was made on last Wednesday, April 13.

Thapa will enjoy benefits and facilities equal to a state minister, according to a statement issued by the President's Office today.
