KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 200,000 was reduces to ashes when a fire broke out at the trailor of Firoj Alam in Fulbari of Bouddha on Monday.

Alam placed an iron on the table after the power went off and forgot to switch it off. When the power came back on, the iron became heated and eventually sparked the fire, police said.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
