Surgical strikes can be repeated: Army Chief Bipin Rawat

After repeated ceasefire violations from Pakistan, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said that the surgical strike was conducted to send a strong message. 

He said,Surgical strike was conducted to send a message and if adversaries do not understand, it will be repeated. 

Rawat also said that the terrorist on the other side of the border is ready to terrorise, but we are also ready to welcome them. 

He added,Sarhad ke us paar jo atankwadi hain, wo taiyaar baithe hain. Hum bhi unke liye iss taraf taiyaar baithe hain. He added,Woh (terrorists) idhar aayenge, hum unko receive karke, dhai foot jameen ke neeche bhejte rahenge.

Earlier, on Sunday, Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have foiled a major terror attack plan with the killing of three terrorists close to the Line of Control in Uri. The police said the terrorists were planning a fidayeen attack, similar to last years attack on the armys Brigade headquarters in Uri town.
