-- This summit brings together a lot of fields relevant to the issues of mankind and prosperity of mankind.

-- GEC17 showcases close ties between US and India and underlines the shared commitment towards encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation.  

-- The summit is being held for the first time in South Asia. It brings together, leading investors, entrepreneurs, academicians, think tanks and other stake holders to propel the global entrepreneurship ecosystem.

-- The theme, 'women first, prosperity for all' makes this edition of GSE stand out.

-- Over 50 per cent of the delegates to the summit are women.

-- In Indian mythology, women are an incarnation of Shakti - the Goddess of power. We believe women empowerment is vital to our development.

-- Our many ports and harbors and world's oldest dockyard in Lothal bear evidences of ancient trade linkages.

-- We've made it easier to do business in India. We have launched a mudra scheme to make it easier for women entreprenuers.

-- Make in India is an incubator for start-ups.

-- The payment interface Bhim enables digital payments.

-- With Aadhar we have the largest digital database.

-- High-speed internet for all Indians by 2019.
