Telangana and Karnataka on BJP's sights next

First Karnataka in 2018, then Telangana, thereafter. That's the plan for the BJP in the years ahead, party president Amit Shah said yesterday while briefing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his three-day visit to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The BJP chief said that if the party widens its organisational base in Telangana there is a bright possibility of capturing power in the state.

Amit Shah briefed the PM on the four-digit RAX special phone, soon after his return to New Delhi. In fact, it is via these phone calls, that Shah keeps the PM informed of organisational matters.

A senior BJP General Secretary told this correspondent that there was a great synergy between the PM and Shan.
