Triple talaq: Shouldn't we hear the matter, asks SC; No, says Sibal

As Congress leader and senior lawyer Kapil Sibal, arguing on triple talaq case, told the Supreme Court that it 'shouldn't decide or interfere in one's faith and belief', Justice Rohinton Nariman asked him, "You mean to say that we shouldn't hear the matter?"

To which, Sibal replied, "Yes, you shouldn't."

Appearing for the All India Muslim Personal Law Board in the case, Sibal told the bench, "If Hindus faith about Rama's birth at Ayodhya can't be questioned, then triple talaq, a matter of faith for Muslims shouldn't be." -- ANI
