Lashkar-e-Tayiba claims responsibility for attack which martyred 1 CRPF cop

The Lashkar -e-Tayiba has claimed responsibility for attack on the CRPF convoy that martyred 1 personnel.

Sub inspector Sahib Shukla was killed when terrorists struck the convoy, part of road opening deployment, were sitting inside their vehicle at Pantha chowk bypass around 5.50 pm along the Srinagar-Jammu national highway when, terrorists carried out the attack.

The CRPF personnel retaliated but there was no immediate report of any casualty on the militant side. Reinforcements were rushed to the area and a search operation was launched to track down the militants, they added.
