Ramgopal has no authority to call natl convention: Shivpal

Talking on Ramgopal Yadav's expulsion from the SP, Shivpal Yadav tweeted, "Ramgopal Yadav's expulsion has been approved by Samajwadi Party's Parliamentary Board Meeting held at Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav's residence."

"Expulsion of Ram Gopal Yadav is still valid and he has no authority to call a National Convention," he said in another tweet.

The announcement came hours after Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav was proposed as the new national working president of the SP and removal of Shivpal from the post of UP chief at a meeting called by Ramgopal.
