TN floor test: Speaker orders division voting

DMK leader MK Stalin has been called upon to speak after Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami moved the trust motion.

Since secret ballot was ruled out, Stalin requested that the trust vote be deferred, which was turned down by the speaker.

Instead the, division voting has commenced in the assembly, which means MLAs will stand in batches and their heads will be count.

230 MLAs are present in the house.
