Rajeev Sharma tells us: The much awaited Supreme Court verdict that will decide the political fate of Tamil Nadu chief minister-aspirant Sasikala Natarajan will be delivered on Tuesday, February 14, knowledgeable sources said.

The two-decade-old case pertains to disproportionate assets allegedly amassed by the late J Jayalalithaa. Sasikala and two others are co-accused in the case.

Sasikala's scheduled show of strength at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday -- where she will parade 131 AIADMK MLAs plus 3 allies' MLAs before President Pranab Mukherjee -- is a powerful indicator how keen the high school dropout, who can converse only in Tamil, is on becoming chief minister.

Tamil Nadu's ongoing political drama will reach a climactic stage next Tuesday after the Supreme Court verdict.

If Sasikala is pronounced guilty by the apex court, she will not only have to serve a jail term, but will be debarred from contesting elections for six years at least.
