TN govt gives Rs 20 lakh to families of CRPF martyrs

A Ganesh Nadar/Rediff.com reports:

The Tamil Nadu government has announced ex gratia of Rs 20 lakh each for the family of four Central Reserve Police Force personnel from the state who were martyred in an attack by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on Monday. 

The bodies of the four martyrs are being airlifted to Tiruchi and Madurai by the Indian Air Force.

Chief Minister K Palaniswamy condoled the death of M Padmanaban, N Senthil Kumar, N Thirumurugan and P Azhagupandi and expressed his sympathies with their families.
