Ohio university shooting suspect killed; lockdown lifted

CBS News reports: Police said they killed at least one suspect during a shooting at the Ohio State University on Monday morning, reports CBS Columbus affiliate WBNS. 

Police is now saying that the lockdown alert has been lifted. Classes have been canceled for rest of the day.

Officials say at least nine people were injured, one critically, in an incident that began at the campus chemical engineering building. At least four of the eight wounded have gunshot wounds.

WBNS reports the incident began around 9:30 am local time when firefighters were responding to reports of a chlorine leak at the chemical engineering building. 

Someone had run a vehicle into the building, and then someone started attacking people inside the building with a knife.
