Modi app dominates App Store searches, downloads on iPhones, iPads

As the debate on PM Narendra Modi's decision to ban Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes continues, his official app has touched new heights on Apple's App Store. The app tops the Trending charts on the App Store.

Also, words related to PM Modi like, namo app, narendra modi app, narendra modi, pm modi, narinder modi, narender modi, narendra, pmo india, narendramodi and namo occupy all the 10 slots in 'Trending search' on the Apple's app marketplace.

On Google Play store, the app ranks at No. 18 among the top downloaded free apps. The 'top 10 Trending apps' too are related to PM Modi or demonetisation on Google Play Store.
