Sonia meets minor rape surivivor at AIMMS

Congress President Sonia Gandhi at AIIMS to meet Delhi minor rape victim's kin. The girl's condition is critical.

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly brutally raped and dumped near a railway track in south east Delhi's Pul Prahladpur area, police said on Wednesday.

The minor girl, an orphan, is admitted in AIIMS and her condition is said to be critical.The girl lives with her maternal aunt at a village near Pul Prahladpur.

She went missing on 17 May, and a search operation was conducted but she could not be found, a senior police official said.In the wee hours of 18 May, locals spotted the girl lying unconscious near the railway track.
