From Phiillip Collins' tribute to the slaiin British MP Jo Cox in the London Times

"Not long ago I chaired an event at the Commons for Save the Children, which Brendan Cox, its policy director, attended. I opened with the story from the Hindu epic Bhagavadgita, which TS Eliot borrowed in Burnt Norton.
On the eve of battle the invincible warrior Arjuna expresses doubts about an impending fight to the death. He is told by Krishna that he must march forward to do his duty. Do not think of the fruit of action, writes Eliot. Fare forward. Not fare well but fare forward, voyagers. It is sad beyond words to have to say of Jo Cox: not fare forward but farewell."
