MHA's new go-to instructions for natural disasters

Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday released a new set of drills to tackle national disaster such as tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, cyclones, avalanches, heat/cold waves and landslides.

The Home Ministry has sent out instructions to the District Magistrates. The circular contains emergency phone numbers, coordinating heads etc. The circular also says that 'disaster handling notes' can be opened from the attachment and exhaustive drill may be conducted. Take a look.
