Rajnikanth to star in Kabali sequel produced by son-in-law Dhanush

Actor Dhanushs next production venture featuring superstar Rajinikanth will reportedly be a sequel to Tamil action-drama Kabali, according to a well-placed source.

On Monday, Dhanush shared on his Twitter page that he will be collaborating with Kabali director Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth on a new project.

Its going to be Kabali 2. Dhanush has taken permission from producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu to continue Kabali franchise with the second part. The project, however, will only materialise next year, after the release of 2.o in the summer, a source close to Dhanush told IANS.

Dhanush, known for producing films such as Kaaka Muttai and Visaaranai, will bankroll the project under Wunderbar Films.
