Oklahoma man killed by neighbor who called him 'dirty Arab'

Police say 37-year-old Khalid Jabara was fatally shot by his neighbor, Vernon Majors, in a neighborhood near 93rd and Memorial Friday night.

The 61-year-old Majors has been accused of terrorizing his community for years with racist attacks and had previously referred to Jabara as a dirty Arab and filthy Lebanese.

Police said Majors has a criminal history with the neighbors. Residents in the area say the suspect and victim had some animosity for quite some time.
