Cong defies BJP to produce order blacklisting Augusta

In the Lok Sabha, the BJP fielded union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy to keep the AugustaWestland debate alive in Parliament. Expectedly, Rudy attacked the Congress leadership.

Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar on Wednesday challenged the Congress to produce the date and order of the UPA Government blacklisting the AugustaWestland helicopter deal. According to a defence ministry spokesperson, the claim by the Congress does not hold water as there is no file or an order by the UPA Government. South Block has therefore dimissed the Congress contention.
