Neither PM Narendra Modi nor Congress president Sonia Gandhi is willing to budge from their stance on GST and whether a special session should be held. They need to get their act together by September 20 -- a special session has to pass the constitutional amendments to GST by September 20.


Leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad and LoP in the Lok Sabha, Anand Sharma, have  suggested that after getting consent from the Prime Minister there should be a meeting between Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Sonia Gandhi. But who will bell the cat? Who will tell Sonia Gandhi to meet Jaitley? And even if the meeting is held, it is highly likely say insdiders that Congress VP Rahul will play spoilpsort. It's wait and watch for now.
