Twitter suspends JuD's 'charity' account

The Twitter account of charity Falah-e-Insanyat Foundation, which is linked to Jamaat ud-Dawa, spearheaded by 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed, was suspended by the social network. While no official comments were available from either side, hashtag#bringbackFIF began circulating, with JuD supporters, FIF sympathisers posting images and stories highlighting the organisation's relief work.

Earlier in December 2014, the official Twitter accounts of JuD and its chief Hafeez Muhammad Saeed were suspended by Twitter without any prior warning or notification. The group blamed India for putting pressure on the micro blogging website to suspend its accounts.
