Modi in Beijing: 24 agreements signed worth $10 billion

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China Premier Li Keiqang signed 24 deals worth $10 billion dollars. Some of the agreements that were signed was the education exchange programme, setting up of consulates in Chengdu and Chennai. 

An action plan between the Indian Railways and the China railways was also signed, along with other trade agreements, including an agreement on mining. The two countries also signed an agreement on broadcast cooperation between the 2 countries' media -- Doordarshan and China Central Television
