Kerala governor Justice P Sathasivam may resign as he is keen to head the National Human Rights Commission.

Sathasivam, who was Chief Justice of India, is believed to be bored cooling his heels in the relative quietude of the Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram.

His interests lie in legal issues and not on political problems, so it is now up to the BJP government to accept his resignation and allow him to ease in to the legal fraternity.

Or will PM Modi be annoyed as Sathasivam was accommodated despite the Congress allegations that he was being given the gubernatorial post for giving relief to BJP president Amit Shah in a fake encounter case.
