LG has asked me to not join office from tomorrow: DCW chief Swati Maliwal

The tiff between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lt Governor Najeeb Jung is still on, as Jung has rejected the appointment of Swati Maliwal as the chief of Delhi Commission for Women. Maliwal said, "I received a call from DCW office saying I'm not supposed to come for work tomorrow because LG had called DCW office and ordered to communicate that to me that DCW will be closed tomorrow."

She said she was upset about the news. Earlier, Jung had called Maliwal's appointment illegal, causing a new fight to erupt between the Lt Governor and the AAP government.
