Jayanti slams Rahul on environment turnaround.
-- Many of colleagues in the Cabinet protested strongly, I had to face anger and wrath of Cabinet members many times.
-- I had to keep on saying that I have to make sure that environment and future is not destroyed.
-- I received specific inputs from Rahul's office on complaints by NGOs against a project by Adanis. It was my duty to make sure that every single step I took, no matter how popular/unpopular was to preserve environment.
-- All this made me stall projects -- Vedanta, Niyamgiri -- in which Rahul Gandhi told tribals he will be their sipahi, like the Nirma project.
