Did Jayanthi meet Amit Shah?

Media reports indicate that Jayanthi Natarajan, in fact, did meet Amit Shah, before she quit the Congress. The meeting was facilitated by a party general secretary. The BJP is reluctant to induct her because many of her decisions as environment minister are now under CBI scanner.

While she said she will not be joining any other party, she tellingly stated at today's presser that the Congress over-ruled her objections to attacking Narendra Modi, then the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate, over the controversy known as Snoop-gate. She said she was forced into criticizing Narendra Modi, then the BJP PM candidate by the party high command even though she had said the party should stick to issues and not individuals.
